Some people have too much time on their hands!

What does it mean, we ask ourselves. Should we be alarmed?

It seems a storm decided to come through, dumping a huge load of hail on Sydney. Some pics below.

Planes

It is a constant source of wonderment to me, as to how planes stay in the air. Smart guys...whoever designed the things should have been awarded some kind of societal saint status!

What to do on a rainy Saturday

Happy 100th Birthday, Central Station.

A lazy morning, somewhat clarified with Earl Grey, was spent putting the finishing touches to the scores I’m republishing. From Marcel Dupré’s œuvre, his “Poème Heroïque”. BUT! As it was the 100th Birthday for Sydney’s Central Station, I thought Sean and I would pop along and have a look. Ambling down each platform and inspecting what “new” toys the State Government had come up with to keep us moving. As a contrast, 3801 Limited, the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum and the Powerhouse Museum graciously provided the means with which to run two double-ended steam train shuttle services between Central and Hurstville. Some piccies are below.
